On the 25th and 26th of October 2019 our first ever guest chef, Þráinn Freyr Vigfússon, visited Nielsen restaurant. Þráinn is the head chef and owner of the popular restaurant Zumac grill+ drinks in Reykjavík city center. Þráinn put together a six course tasting menu for the event, the very best bits of the North African and Lebanese inspired cuisine served at Sumac. This was an exotic treat for you taste buds to say the least and very satisfied pop up guests filled our little restaurant both nights. Thank you so much to chef Þráinn!
